It's not just another doggy's story... or maybe I wasn't expecting too much watching this movie...

Touching indeed~

The movie gave me a whole new meaning cos the owner to the dog behind my house finally came and take the dog home...

Sometimes I think of what a dog lives its life for~

So honest and sincere by pouring its whole heart in loving it's owner alone...

nothing else... just imagine you live your whole life for someone you love.. to know that when the person is gone... how can you take it?

Like in this case, the dog did not know at first that it's owner has passed away...

He knew it years later, but he still waited for the owner...

Faithful and loyal....

Note to self.... I'm not getting a dog if I don't know how to take care of one.. plus if the dog dies... my heart will just stop beating...

The whole movie just don't make sense... so don't try to sense with it when you watch this film...

Its a comedy... just laugh!

I didn't really like the movie tho'~

Because I had to compare it to the previous comedy I watch just a week before this movie...

So don't be disappointed when you watch this...

The movie makers did their best in bringing out the comedic side of this action figure :)

This would be resemble Tuxedo, Shanghai Noon yada yada...

It's hilarious... so different when Jackie Chan was in a Chinese made film...

Just for laughter.. this would be a great choice...

Watched this with a couple of friends and one of them just laughed so hard that I felt so embarrassed to be sitting next to them....

But come to think of it... it is with this type of friends that makes a comedy film more comedic.. what am I trying to say...

Just enjoy ^_^

A little disappointed that he only had such a short scene but it was great...

The all time favourite detective story...

Didn't really like it tho'~

I fell asleep while watching this... It was not bad... the setting and all...

But you need all the attention when you watch this...

I was exhausted from work when I watch this so it was not really entertaining...

From what I could remember when I fell asleep on certain parts of the film...

It was very artificial... the fight scenes especially...

Not really have much to say about this film...

Would watch it again if I could and maybe have second thoughts :)

I must say this is truly great...

I watched it twice in the cinema...

The movie so detail and the colours used were really realistic and great...

You wouln't feel like watching a fake scene at all...

The makers did a really good job in fooling the audience on the reality of Pandora..

Can't believe they had linguists create the language for this film...

No doubt it was great.... there is a message behind this movie...

More of political, stakeholders who own certain business and exploitation of certain places...

This soundtrack of this film is so similar to Titanic (I know that it's the same director)... that feeling we get from watching Titanic... applies here as well...

Really really good movie.... rate it at 4.5/5

Cirque Du Freak The Vampire's Assistant

When you get too bored with your own life and want a little more weird-ness adventure in your life~ it comes to you...

This horror-comedy film made the audience laugh their head off...

You can hear laughter almost anytime of the film...

The action is not very good and all I can say is really "entertaining" would be the funny jokes...

The ending was really abrupt... did not really like the storyline..

Bodyguards and Assassins has got great action cuz there is DONNIE YEN!!!

The movie might be a little boring but it has got good storyline...

Love the way it builds our patriotic feeling towards the incident & made the audience feel how it was like when it all happened...

The Twilight Saga New Moon (2009)

After watching Twilight (later than everyone else), I was very excited to see what's up next...

I won't say that it is very good nor it is bad...

Because it is neither..

The storyline without reading the book was pretty much a predictable one...

(I might have watched the trailer too much could have contributed to this kind of feedback)

No doubt this sells because of Edward.

Goodness the amount of female viewers in the entire cinema was many many times more than male~

The romance, break up, assumption, new focus and climax to this part of twilight was not as interesting or should I say... captivating or attracts me to watch it apart from watching Edward...

The action scenes were quite disappointing especially the wolves effect.

Most important thing that made me really uncomfortable during the movie was too much spinning round the character scene... very very sick... so dizzy...

I understand that that filming style would create the focus and the feeling of solidarity or loneliness on the character... but filming style could have been done in a better way to avoid this discomfort..

By the way the soundtrack for this film is not as good as the first one...

Apart from that, I guess nothing else should stop you from watching this incredibly good vampire romance film where millions of female fans go ga ga over Robert Pattinson...

But when you do watch this film, bare in mind that there is a third one coming, so try not to expect too much from this one...

I am truly looking forward to the third one...

Daremo Shiranai / Nobody Knows (2004)

As I was watching this movie, there were many questions raised in my mind.

This was based on a true story of "Four abandoned children of Sugamo" in Japan, late 1980s.

These children had different fathers. Soon after they moved to the new place, their mother left them, putting the eldest son, Akira in charge of the sibling's welfare.

Regardless of how the director tried to portray the eldest son being discipline and obedient, he is still a child, aged 12.

The maturity of a child in reality is different as compared to the film.

No doubt, Akira handled the family well. However, at that age, most children care about being able to fit into the society or peers rather than anything else.

He finally gave up on the family when he found out that his mother has left them to survive on their own.

Harsh reality for these abandoned children would be surviving penniless.

This film represents a criticism towards the society, parents and each and everyone of us.

How can the society or neighbours not see or realize that something was amiss?

More importantly, why be irresponsible parent by bringing the child into the world and then abandon them to fend for themselves?

A note from the director to each and everyone of us would be to SEE this mistake and learn from it.

I must take my hats off to Hirokazu Koreeda because he did a very good job with the production. Exposing and reminding us of the important human values that we have often forgotten or taken for granted of. The entire movie didn't seem like a movie but more like a looking glass to the realness of the incident.

The ending was great because they carried on surviving even though their sister fell to her death.

I would say 4/5

Love, Hate, Desire, Lust, Greed and Freedom.

This film is a musical love story where the entire movie is staged.

The movie is a representation of Paris and the conspiracies that tags along with it from the perspective of those who were made to believe their whole life that they are only worth is when someone pays for them.

The lies and deception filled film replicates the situation of Paris then.

Personally Moulin Rouge is one of the best musical film I would recommend.

WOW!

Sharon... I'd have to agree with you... Twilight is no doubt the best vampire movie I've ever watched.

The storyline was great... Actors are really good too... I would have to say the lead actor is really... what do you call... hmm... charmer?

When he appeared on screen, I went gaga over him~ Ahem...

Apart from the actors, I would say the effects are not too fake like some films that tries to exaggerate the immortality and strength of a vampire...

It was pretty much what we could relate to in the real world...

The setting for this movie was really nice~ Gloomy, cold and damp...

This movie just changed my mind over the vampire movies that I hated so much over the years... This is better than The Covenant....

What are the fine lessons in life that you think would last a life time?

Based on a book "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom...

I've read this book before and it was very meaningful~

A life of a man who learned to live by learning to die... How is that even possible?

Our common culture endorsed by our society just doesn't seem to allow us to talk about certain topics...

They deemed it as taboo to be talking about death, fear, regrets, failures and many other things which people are too engrossed in chasing the life of fame and fortune where there is no time for religion, spiritual connection, human relationship and love for one another...

This book & movie has thought me a lot about life (not that I do not know how to live)...

There were a few things that Morrie said kept repeating itself in my mind every now and then~

"We need to love one another~ or ~ DIE"

How often in life when we tend to take many things for granted... especially those around us...

Morrie also said that we should not be afraid of saying goodbye ..

"Death ends a life, not a relationship"

This movie or book could get so personal where at certain point while reading about it... It keeps me pondering about what Morrie said or taught about life...

We wont get a second chance in life. Therefore we need to live it right

Deeply touched by this movie on a true story of a young boy's dream to become a teacher but because of his disability of the Tourette Syndrome.

Tourette Syndrome is a neurological disorder where it causes recurrent involuntary movements like multiple neck jerks and sometimes vocal tics, grunts or barks.

Striving to live with his condition, he made people understand about his condition by not being ashamed by it and allowing people to talk or ask him about his syndrome.

However, being in a cruel society, humans will always be humans.

Looking down at his disabilities instead of his ability to teach.

He did not give up and applied to become a teacher in 25 schools.

Only ONE school gave him a chance to shine.

He did. He earned his reward by being awarded the "Teacher of the Year" award.

What are the odds.

In this movie, Brad Cohen did mention something important about teachers.

When you anticipate to watch a film and becomes not so impressed by it.. what do you do?

Now I'm not going to say that the film is lousy or anything... Just that many times when we feel so excited to watch something and it didn't turn out as expected... probably my expectation level is too high ^_^

This time.... the begining part of the film is quite boring but towards the middle and end is very comedic.... some are pretty lame... but no doubt the action is very good compared to the first... but plot and storyline wise... the first is better than this....

However if you are a big fan.... regardless it is good or bad.. you will still support... ^_^

I find the genre of this film a bit too much mixture of action and comedy (it could have been done better for them to jive well) Anyways... good film because the action graphics and sound improved...

Jean-Pierre Jeunet's whimsical, fantastical and romantic comedy... Amelie...

The film just takes your mind off the reality and back... pretty much a mixture of both to get your mind working and at the same time enjoy every bit of it...

I watch this last year in one of my Film Theory class and was amazed by it... And yesterday during my film studies thesis consultation the lecturer played this film to entertain us while conducting individual consultation...

The film is a French film... what amazes me is how Jeunet use contrasting colours in making the film... Red... Green... Colours that don't usually blend but he managed to do it in this film... Just awesome..

The story is about this young girl, Amelie who does not experience a proper childhood life with friends around and goes through life lonely.... she is very good at details... sights and sounds... smell... The film is quite manipulative to the audiences minds where Jeunet puts us in the position to go through the emotions of the characters... unlike blockbuster films... it concentrates of little details that we do not normally see in a film...

Highly recommended ^_^

Amazing that I will watch this film? Well shouldn't be...
Did I enjoyed the film? I wouldn't say entire NO.. I did only certain parts where.. Marilyn Monroe being "dumb BLONDE"....
Guys.. word of advice... Never let your gals watch this film...
What we learn from this film is to be gold diggers and most important... 'Diamonds are girls best friend'...

The content of this movie is pretty much those typical old films that does not really have a good story line.. but if you think again.. when do musicals have extra ordinary story line that could capture you or blow your mind off... (if you do... introduce those films to me ya!)

What I do not like about this film is getting agitated with the characters... Even questioned myself for paying attention to the film... (no choice... have to choose films for assignment...)

But if you just wanna laugh and relax without thinking about analysing the film.... there are silly antics and scripts that could make you laugh...

The movie is quite funny... but if we compare it with the previous one... that would be better...

Brilliant animation by Tim Burton... Just can't get enough of it...

The story is too special to tell... I watched it in 3D in Liverpool Odeon... enjoyed every bit of it...

City girl, Coraline hated the idea of moving into this apartment in this small town.

Her parents are so busy with their work that she is most of the time ignored.

This is when she went exploring the new place.

She meets other inhabitants of the house, Miss Miriam Forcible, Miss April Spink and Mr Bobo.

The life changing mystery started when she discovered a small door, locked and sealed away on the wall. She got hold of the key and opens it.

There she finds a dark passage leading to the other side where it is completely identical to her home. This alternate world is inhabited by her Other Mother and Father who are near-replicas of her real parents but for the button eyes.

This Other Parents gave her all that she had ever wanted. Love, care and ATTENTION...

But after going back there for a few days, the Other Mother offered her a long term stay where all she needs to do is sewing the buttons to her eyes, willingly.

But she did not want to and angered the Other Mother and eventhough Coraline escaped from her, in her real world, her parents went missing.

So she had to go back to the Other world to save them before it's too late.

This movie pretty much have a lot of values to learn. Especially for young children who always complains so much about life with their parents or family.

It may be a film, but there are truths in them.

So BEWARE what you wish for...

I shall leave the judging to ya ^_^

This is a very interesting Frankenstein film compared to other similar content film. Full of action, unexpected twist in the plot and suspense.

Haha.. I shall not give any insights to the film. I suggest it will mean alot to watch the film and be amazed ^_^

Die Wolke (2006) / The Cloud

We are repeatedly being exposed with this type of film about nuclear, radiation, diseased spreading.. etc..

Are we really aware ? Or do we just know and then forgets all about it after the hoo-ha?

This is a German film about a nuclear power station breakdown that affected Germany. People fleeing, rushing so fast.... trying to save the entire family....

The focus of this film is based on this teenage girl, Hannah who was left home alone with her younger brother, Uli. Her mother called her and asked her to quickly leave home to the nearest train station with her brother. While cycling their way to the train station, riding down hill... her brother reach an intersection and was run over by a car. Instant death. Shocked, she was given a ride to the train station. But, feeling so lost, she tried to commit suicide by going out to the open and soaked by contaminated rain.

When she regained consciousness, she realized that she is badly affected by the radiation that she had cancer. Her boyfriend, Elmar finally found her and sacrifice to be with her even thought it means to be with the contaminated patients.

However, later on he found out that he was already affected when was fleeing in the train station.

Their love stays strong and they went back to their hometown together to bury Uli's body in the corn fields then live together until death decides to seperate them.

Lovely story but very different because it has a very "Hollywood" filming techniques which is different from the usual artistic techniques.

So to get that position, she made up a story about having a fiance, a random guy (Nick) that she met off someone's wedding dinner. She found Nick again pays him to be her fiance... He reluctantly accepts the offer to be her fiance and then humiliate himself in front of all her colleagues by breaking up with her.

Most of the time, our fate is just right in front of us... but we are blinded by what we want to see that we overlook it... ^_^

It's just basic instinct of survival...

The movie Right at your Door is not like any other thriller films I've watched..

During the entire show you will have that panic and suspense feeling and loads of questions in your mind.. Why this and why that...

It is not answered in the film but it leaves a trail of questions..

This movie reminds me a lot about the current Swine flu..

Nevertheless it is not quite the same but related to evolved virus..

For a virus to evolve it needs a living creature like human to be living together with the virus in a confined place..

The irony of this film is the ending is not what we have expected...

We think we are safe in our home sealed up but in fact we are also still vulnerable to threats..

At some point of the film it may be boring too.. So it's really up to different people whether is this film really that good as claimed?

The meaning lies within YOU...

This is what I would call a movie filled with fantasy and imagination... just to tell of a person's life... full of wonderous adventures that is too good to be true...

Tim Burton sure has his imagination cap on for this is an amazing fantasy like film about Edward Bloom (Ewan McGregor / Albert Finney) who was thought to make up stories of the adventure of his life... As he is on his death bed... His son, Will, tries to find out the truth to his stories..

Some fantasy is just a made up in a person's mind but to make them up... there are some sort of truth in the story itself...

Will found out that all the stories his father told him were the truth...

At his father's funeral, there were many unusual guests or his father's friend that turned up to pay their respect... that was when Will finally knows who his father was..

Will then passes on his father's story to his children and it became a custom that was being passed on for generations...

I love the way all the fairy tales come together into a movie by itself. Even though the idea is not really original idea but the entire arrangement of the plot brings a different feeling to this film... just wonderful...

The entire story is made up from the famous fairy tale Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White..

The whole idea of bringing the fairy tale into the real world is a whole new feeling and message..

Of course to some, fairy tales still and do happen in our daily lives.. depends on how we live our life...

Its fun to live our life positively like a fairy tale... but of course... not everything like a fairy tale ^_^

A fairy tale is just to give us better and positive hope to our life...

In other words... Let us live our life to the fullest...

When you least expect it... it became a very nice movie...

Salute to Chris Sivertson for this pretty good thriller-mystery film...

A brutal serial killer in New Salem, abducts young girls, holds them captive for weeks and tortures them by amputating their finger, hand and leg. (oops.. too much detail) Then kills them.

Aubrey Fleming (Lindsay Lohan), a very gifted pianist and an ambitious writer was abducted right after the football game. Then weeks later she was found by a women on the side of a deserted road. She was rushed to the hospital and further investigated. Her distressing parents stayed by her side until she finally gained consciousness. However, she wakes up telling them that she is not Aubrey but some kind of stripper in a night club. No one believed her and she was taught to be delusioned, hiding somewhere in her mind. Where soon the FBI found her writing in laptop. She writes about a girl Dakota Moss whom she claims to be now.

One night in the hospital under supervision, she had a bad dream where her arm was punctured and bleeding by itself. She couldn't explain what happened to her.

When she finally returns to Aubrey's home, she google about "bleeding unexplained".

She realize that she had a twin where similar cases of stigmatic twins experiencing what the other twin is facing at the same time.

She investigates who killed her... or is killing her... where Aubrey's father, Daniel admits that he bought Aubrey because his own baby died after birth. A fanatic piano teacher, Douglas Norquist was the killer.

This film give me so intense and keeps my mind thinking. Very good plot. At least not like most of the films I have watched this week that uses too much flash back technique.

Currently watching this Taiwanese drama...

The starting of this drama is quite boring....

Anyways, the movie is staring...

Vic Zhou, Kingone, Ken Zhu, Chen Yan Xi and Terri Kwan.

Drama is about Xu Le (Vic, who looks like a friend, Kim ^_^ wait.. also look like Stephen at some point) a best selling author who is stuck with a case of writer's block and decides to seek for inspiration that led him to work as a taxi driver. He met up with Ah Hao (Ken) who is his best friend in high school. Ma Yong Rui ( Kingone, who happens to also look like my friend, Scott LOL...) heir to a 5star hotel who is Xu Le and Ah Hao's best friend too.

The drama uses too much flashback that made me quite bored... LOL...

This time, the drama is quite different. Momo (Rainie) a agoraphobic girl who is a fanatic of Casaba the Alien Prince since she was a little girl. Chu Chu is Momo's sister who always create trouble but nevertheless takes care of Momo well. Since Momo is an anti-social, her only friend in school is Jia-Sen (George) that she grew up with. Jia-Sen is the sole heir of a multi-national business, handsome, athletic and Momo's childhood lover. However, his IQ remains as an 8 year old (people refer to him as Forrest Gump). Mars (Jiro) is an idol drama star whose popularity shrank because of few negative news. So his company freeze him with false press release of returning him to school. He had no choice but to follow the plan and rent a room outside that happens to be Momo's house. That is when things starts to change....

An Indonesian film...

Dion, a rich 12 year old, fell in love with Om (uncle) Gaza. Because of his father figure and his constant care for her.

For a 12 year old, she has a mind of a 20year old.

She imitates older girls, even goes to club just to get to his heart.

However, clearly this is not something that our culture approves of.

Watching so many films, I find this film very informative... We think we know so much... but do we really know?

This film gives us the insight to Mumbai...

It is some sort of a critique to the people there during the incident of the anti-muslim attacks in Mumbai 1993...

The movie is a documentary of a little muslim boy who grows up in the slums...

Uses a lot of flash backs in this film... to tell of Jamal's background and past...

Worth watching... make sure you don't eat while you watch this movie... there is a scene relating to *shit ^_^

Remember the racist times... when the whites hated the blacks...

Well this is not another racist story... but the black female position within their own race...

This film addresses issues surrounding black female's life...

Cecil an uneducated poor black woman, raped and impregnated by a man whom she calls father. He sold her children away and then forced to marry a widower with four children who had his eyes on her sister, Nettie. The widower seduces Nettie but failed, so he forces her to leave his home. She runs away to the pastor and promises Cecil that she will write to her.

Within this movie, many different types of black woman's story was told but did not have a happy ending.

Watching this movie made me think a lot. How much impact this movie had back then in 1985? How did this film helped in raising up the issue and solving the issue rather than just bringing it up and then leave it there... How is it different compared to now? I find that if we don't just look at black female, just any race... female are being suppressed by male regardless of how many signs through films, books and other media ... It wouldn't make any difference if no one do something about it... But I am grateful that voices can be heard now... that is a start...

Go on and check this movie out... you might learn something more than I did...

This movie would not be a scary film for those of you who watches a different level of horror films ^_^

I would say this is for noobs.. (like me T_T)

Anyways, this movie uses a lot of flashback techniques to tell the whole story...

It began with a dead twin sister (Sophie).. Left with her twin's belonging, Megan travelled with her bunch of friends to her parent's summer home near the swamp... This is where the secret to her twin's death starts to uncover... Signs of Sophie's death haunts Megan in her dream and even when she was wide awake... But there was someone else in the picture... another young ghost...

Why solstice? It was believed that during this time of the year is when you can communicate with the dead and of cos... vice versa...

Marley... truly a blessing to this family.... no matter how annoying and naughty he is... he knows what is going on around him...

Pets are really sensitive to how the owners treat them... they know when you're angry and they know when you're sad.... they comfort you...

They are so genuine that humans may not be able to do it...

Besides, the movie also show the contrast of two man... one with family (Owen) one without and go on living his single life... When you have all the career you ever wanted... the success is nothing when you have no one to celebrate and appreciate with...

I can't take the feeling of losing someone close.... it's really hard... even though it's just a pet... but this pet has become part of the FAMILY..

Before we start criticizing on our Malaysian film like any other time.... I guess this is one of my best Malaysian Film recommendation

The filming skills in this movie is quite good compare to all other Malaysian films... (this does not include films by Yasmin Ahmad... she's too good to be compared)

One thing I like about this movie is the reality of the filming. You won't get to see this type of filming style in most local films.

Two more reasons why this is such a good movie:

the soundtrack is awesome... it captures your emotion just like that... very well picked...

Erra Fazira & Hans Isaac is too good to be true... I would say they are one of the best actor & actresses in Malaysia...

All excitement came crushing down as I watch this movie.

As much as I tried hard to enjoy Watchmen, I guess we can never be too satisfied with films... surely someone has something to say about it.

Ok I shall have my say. When I watch a film, I do not only watch it because it is famous but I do evaluate from the publicity of the film until the day I watch the film and have another set of things to evaluate before I post them here.

This film however really disappoint me in many ways.

I should probably say what I like about the movie first before I go bombarding the movie with a totally negative comments. ^_^

The movie has got really good graphics (no doubt). Action scenes are not bad.. Awesome trailer that attracted me to watch the film... What else.. hmmm...

Ha! That's it? Any one can chip in any ideas?

The not so pretty side of the film would be the story line... The entire story is very boring to begin with...

Too much narration that really keeps viewers away from the initial message of the film.

Bad choice of music with action...

More insight... the film is selling too much American propaganda shyt* (oops!)

The movie makes me feel like it is trying to brainwash the viewers with the American propagandized views, "Dr Manhattan is the super hero and he is American citizen"?

So what if he is not American citizen? Does it mean that other people in the other parts of the world or continents cannot have HEROES? (like in Malaysia we have our own Malaysian heroes eg. Cicakman, Keluangman... what other man?)

The entire film just shows how much insecurity the Westerns feel with other empire rising over them. So they sacrifice millions to save billions? Is this even a method of solving a crisis?

Aww... come on... these people can do better...

Another thing I'd like to highlight. Every single superhero films that I've watched really get on my nerves to see how female is portrayed.

Female = Sex?

Is this equation even right to begin with?

Too much sex appeal.

When I watch this movie... One question came to mind...

"Where is JUSTICE?"

Black August is about the last 14 months of George Jackson's life in prison from street tough to political martyr...

He moved from Chicago to LA with his family but he was arrested for robbing $70 from a gas station...

He spend his 11 years in jail studying Marx ,Mao and other revolutionary thinkers.

He then channeled all his rage and oppressed and exploited community in to a powerful indictment of racial status quo in a series of passionate and poetic letters that were collected and published in the volume Soledad Brothers....

Jackson died in the attempt to escape jail... He would rather "die on his feet than to live one minute on his knees".

What hurts me most watching this movie is the reality of the racial discrimination to the extend that peace on earth does not exist among the oppressed...

Now, eventhough it is holiday I still kept myself occupied with movies ^_^ (does that even sound right?)

Here are some of the movies I watched throughtout my CNY holiday up until today at random...

Wind Chill is the type of movie that you have to really sit down, watch, don't move... or you'll miss out on what the whole film is all about...

It's a horror film but it doesn't make me feel like it's a horror film (if you get what I mean)

This movie can give you the goose bumps... the story is about her childhood friends being murdered by a psychotic nurse who revenge for her distorted child's death...

Ponyo is a really imaginative and creative animation by Studio Ghibli.... It's got a very simple message... LOVE...

It's very cute... recommended to watch ^_^

First impression on this House Bunny is really trash but after watching the movie I find that it's pretty impressive...

It's not those super dumb blonde stories but very much counter those typical films...

Quite touching on some parts but I wouldn't rate it as the best but only 3/5...

Sex and the City is very much about the friendship and to what extent friendships can be in New York City....

It tells the story on the four city women...

Quantum of Solace is not so good... 1/5 rating for the effort. It's so the typical Bond film. The trademark is there though.

This, you've gotta watch. It's really interesting and keeps your brain thinking and analyzing the situation. It's based on the film Yogen in Jap. Premonition's main actress is Sandra Bullock (awesome actress who really brings out every character she acts in).

It's weird to experience having your husband today and finding him dead the next.... EVERYDAY.

Watch it to find out.

Madagascar is funny but not hilarious. I still prefer the 1st Madagascar.

Joshua is type of child that you will never hope to get. Full of hatred, jealousy and very cunning to manipulate people around.

Unbeatable kid who has the "mastermind" of a full grown adult.

Another patriotic film. Watching this film IP Man is not just about the action but the message behind it is more about patriotism.

Flicka is the name of the wild horse. Movie is filled with the passion of a girl who hopes to tame this wild horse.

She went through thick and thins to secretly tame the horse without her father's knowledge...

Besides the passion for the horse, the movie's theme is also about patriotism.

I do not know what to say about this movie.... Ella Enchanted is so like Enchanted but worse!

It's so crappy that I wanted to give up watching it.

I think Earthsea is suitable for those who likes LOTR or Eragon. It's the typical ancient times' kings and queen's movie..

I must say Eagle Eyes reminds me about Transformers. Maybe because of the lead actor but the entire movie is not bad for typical action film.

Disturbia is something different. It's actually about a psychoanalytic killer but they change the perspective from a kid who had to stay at home and he has nothing better to do than to spy on what his neighbours are doing and found out that the killer is staying right next to his...

What would you do if a serial killer is just a wall away?

Touching... Sad.... Crap... Storyline could be brushed up a little...

City of Ember is really cool. Walden Media is doing a really good job with the story they pick for their movies. This is a MUST WATCH!

But the most important is what the movie reveals to us about what Antropologists (life observer) do and the difficulties they face to accomplish their goals... How sometimes the antropologist might get themselves too immersed or obsessed with life that they do not know how to live their own...

So, yeah this is pretty much what I've watched throughout my holidays...

Another movie that features Hilary Duff. I fell in love with her 1st album, Metamorphosis.

This movie is similar to Camp Rock. It's all about music and what people go through to get to this summer programme.

The difference is what Terri went through right before she was accepted into the music school.

Both her brother and her met with an accident on the night of her brother's graduation day while they were sneaking out of the house to a concert.

She blames herself for surviving the crash and almost lost her heart to singing.

It's also a bit on romance but mainly focuses on Terri's talent, family and peer pressure....

Hope and future all revolves around his daughter... especially her well being...

Because of his love towards his daughter, he allowed his daughter to go to Paris with her friend, Amanda.

Just right after they reach Paris, they were kidnapped by Albanians who abduct young female travellers for human traffiking...

Story no more.. go watch the movie and experience the intensed action....

I watch this movie with my grandpa for the 3rd time... I find it pretty cool moves but just a bit poor on the stoyline...

I watch this during my CNY in Penang... was not well during my time there because of weather..

Anyways this violent movie really entertained me...

hahaha.... ooh... the guy is really handsome...hehe...

Wu Jing is the next big thing in the action - kung fu films... Very good and smooth moves... (it's real kung fu) hehe...

If you love music and love story... this would be a great choice... this movie fills the heart with warmth of love and hope of a little boy in search of his unknown parents through music....

A very gifted boy whose parents are great musicians in two different genre... since young he feels the music in him guiding him and giving him hopes that one day he could find him parents...

One day he just leave the orphanage by following the music every where.. guiding him to New York to find his parents... because of his talent, he falls trap to greedy talent scout who is making money out of his talent... suddenly police came to raid the old building and he ran for his life keeping his identity secret by using a fake name.... August Rush.... soon he found himself in a church, where he then was discovered and sent to Julliard and became a famous composer at that very age...

So what is the ending?

It's a lovely movie.... highly recommended to watch...

This is not some kind of job vacancy announcement.... its a movie title... stop asking me about job availability....

This is a last year movie.... honestly it's not very good... especially the ending... there is suspense but cannot be compared to SAW or House of Wax... This movie is just another psycho freak film... murdering people, filming the whole process out of fun...

At the end when Amy Fox (Kate Beckinsale) shoot the creepy manager, I thought that fella wont die so easily who's body would go missing after she went to David's (Luke Wilson) aid. Somehow I feel the bad guys die too easily in this film...

Another thing is that David was still alive (shockingly... so not logic) looking at the way he was stabbed at night... he should have been dead too... but I guess he save himself by "playing dead"...

By the way, Luke Wilson is so not suitable for this kind of film as I felt it was very weird for someone who normally acts in a comedy film suddenly changes genre... I cant feel the "serious-ness" while watching the film... he seems so "funny"....

Not much to say bout this film.. pretty normal... watch it if you want ^_^

Oh those of you who watch HSM2 did you notice Miley Cyrus / Hannah Montana when they were singing the song All for One, at the end of the movie? Just a 2 second appearance... haha... to compare with HSM 1, I think this is not as good.. I'm waiting to watch HSM 3... Hopefully it's gonna be better than all...

The boy is popular, footballer, quaterback.. bla bla bla... and the girl is a nerd, unpopular, smart.. bla bla bla... they were both not in good terms... always quarrel... so one day during the school trip to museum, they were quarreling in front of the statue of Aztec, God Tezcatlipoca... so they were cursed and to wake up the next morning in different body...

So you can just imagine what they both went through.. the typical storyline...

My rule! Your rule! Everybody's rule! You guys must be wondering what I meant there. No meaning, just for fun. This movie is not that bad in my opinion. It's a grandmother, mother and daughter relationship movie. Georgia is the grandma. So basically you can just imagine rules set by grandmother and how it is kept and practiced until the grand daughter. Sometime rules too rigid is not very good for family relationship. Not every rule is applicable to everyone in the family sometime. So it's hard when it comes to family conflicts when you still apply rules to it.

Anyway this movie, Rachel (Lindsay Lohan) was molested or "raped" by her step father at the age of 12 and all this while her step father buy her things to compensate the action. So in short the action actually damaged her sense of right and wrong to sex.

In her mother's eyes, Rachel was like any Californian kid who are very rebellious. What she did not know was what is going on between her husband and her child.

When she got to know about it, she felt disgust and hate to her husband for such immoral act. However, her husband (being the best lawyer in California) defended himself by lying to her that nothing happened.

Want to know more? Watch la.... hahaha.... the movie is a mixture of comedy...

The movie not really talking about the physiological fever but more of a person's spiritual and mental fever. Watching this movie actually raises lots of controversial ideas in my mind. There are a few issues raised in this movie like poverty, revolution, high society and bourgeois.

The women in the film represents the common female in the rich society. Angelina Jolie on the other hand is part of the revolutionary.

Now what is so significant about this movie?

I personally thinks it is like a wake up call for all of us.

The film shows us the clear existence crisis which we are living in our lives that we may not be aware of. This urban rich women (Vanessa Redgrave) suddenly becomes aware of the actual truth of the world of politics, economic exploitation and vapid consumerism. She visited a war-torn in the third world country in Eastern Europe where her views of life changed.

When she returned home from that trip to Eastern Europe, she could not fit herself back into her elite and commercial lifestyle like shopping for beautiful things and go to theatre with her friends. She was living in a pleasurable life but suddenly after the trip she felt like her whole life being bombarded with stuffs that kept questioning her morality in her life. She realized that she became blinded to her life with all those "nice things" in life that she started to feel that her life is a total different class from others... especially the poor.

However, all came to her senses when she snapped out of her so called life into reality where she realize that her life had some sort of connection with every poor person in the world.

She realize that her life is filled with materialized comfort like her favourite "clean sheets" that she started to forget all about the hardships that is going on around her life.

This movie is not easy to understand. It needs more indepth study to further understand what is the actual idea apart from what I could understand from the movie. Hahaha... I don't think its a very interesting film to implement to you guys to watch ^_^

Puchong Latest News ~ Garbage of Humanity

Interesting title? Well you should listen to the script then... I think I should practice my journalistic skills now that I am going to report the latest news... Haha joking...

The incident occurred in Puchong right in front of my house about 10.30pm. Everything happened so fast, just the blink of an eye. Police car siren was heard with tyre screeching on the road then... a loud bang!

When I heard the siren I quickly ran out the house and saw the car crashed into my neighbour's taxi. So you must be wondering what happened? From what I hear from my neighbours, I can give one conclusion from all the different sides to the stories. Here goes nothing....

This young Malay boy was caught by a policeman making love... Caught by surprised, the boy panicked and attempted to run over the policeman but only manage to run over the officer's feet and bang the police car. Speeding off the boy came into my neighbourhood and was seen throwing something out of the car or someone jumping off the car by the police and the neighbours. No where to run, the boy made a turn into my street then the police tried to overtake him and he crashed into my neighbour's car. (amazing story eh? not something you can see everyday)

Guess what. The boy wanted to make a run for it but was caught by the police and well the police while questioning him, he beat the boy up. All the boy had on him was just his orange boxers and nothing else, not even shoes on. The policeman who was limping held on to the boy and beating him. The police asked him what did he throw out the car. Was it ganja? Nobody knows. The boy still talk back to the police, so the unsatisfied policeman go on hitting him.

But from my point of view, serve the boy right for getting the beating, not to say I'm siding the police but this young chap needs a beating to learn from his actions. From the physical outlook of the boy, he is merely 16 or 17 years old. How ashamed his parents would be.

The boy still argue with the police," Saya tak ada wang macam mana. Minta maaf saja lah!". He doesn't feel sorry for his action. He needs more than beating to learn from his mistakes.

So far this is the second "interesting" incident happening in front of my house.

The person I really feel sad for is my neighbour. He just got this taxi job for less than 2 weeks.

12 hours later... The boy face no punishment.. Why? This is the problem with our country's law enforcers. My neighbour can claim insurance if he falsify the report by saying the boy's father was the driver. Cos if the boy was found taking drugs, then the victim cannot claim as the boy will be charged and put to prison for two years. Some more the culprit's father claims his son is a 9As student in SPM and currently studying in UiTM. SO WHAT! Yet the boy was not charged the least for reckless driving... I should have called my reporter friends yesterday night to cover this news..

Now here's a comedy which I think is something educative to us... postively... There are similarities between these two movie... Unwanted pregnancy... What is your options if you were to get pregnant before marriage? It's indeed something which our society frowns upon.... I can't imagine what would I do if it were to happen to me... But in both these films... ABORTION is not an option... No No... It's a life in there... and I think it is definately cruel to weezel your way out through abortion... From Juno, the movie portrays a "weird talking" female being pregnant.. yet still kept her mind positive to plan or choose the best future for her unwanted child.. I think it is the least she could do as to be certain that the baby will have a great life ahead of her... Besides.. even though the movie is not about LOVE but I think its the same in all romance films where it takes a person to go one big circle and to come back the the same spot, to know that the right person was just right infront of them... at least they realize.. not like some who are blind for the rest of their lives... Knocked up on the other hand, portrays the pregnant women to have full responsibility on the baby.. with or without the father.. but no matter what.. during those stage in life... so much as we do not want it... still she needs a man or someone to look after her...

Surprisingly, Time magazine calls this a "juno" effect where 17 students became pregnant after watching the film... and Juno and Knocked up was blamed for glamorizing teenage pregnancy...

Aarrgh.... haha.. just watch Pirates of the Caribbean again... I really love this movie... or should I say I love Johnny Depp... Very talented... he really perform his best in every movie he is in... Not to mention beautiful Keira Knightley... It's just perfect...

Some may think At World's End is not that nice.. but I think the whole story is really good..
Great scriptwriters.. Hope to see the 4th Pirates Of The Caribbean soon.... if they are thinking of making one.. ^_^

When this movie came out in the cinemas... I didn't got the chance to watch it... apparently yesterday night... it was on HBO...

The movie was not bad.. I expected more... I guess we shouldn't believe what people say all the time.. cos the feedback I got was very good.. however I find it a bit of disappointing yesterday...
Somehow the movie reminded me of another movie... which I think if to be compared with eragon... that is better in terms of the story...

For Eragon, I think the great thing was the scenery and the graphics were awesome.. Just that I think the story should have been more interesting... well I think there will be Eragon 2 soon.. looking at the ending of the movie... looks like to be continued...

The other movie I was referring to with similarity with eragon is dragonheart... no matter how many times I watch this movie.... It really touched me... (means I cry...) I know dragons do not actually exist as far as I know... but the way the movie is filmed shows us even a human's heart is harder than a dragon's heart.... a man can be so cruel... or should I say more cruel than a beast which we always claim to be the heartless ones....
The part that touched me.. is when the dragon have to sacrifice itself so that that heartless prince could stop all the cruelty...
Talk about a heart-full dragon... I guess what goes on in a person's heart... we cannot see...
Thank God that He sees...

For goodness sake! These people just can't stop making films like Epic Movie, Date Movie, Scary Movie.. bla.. bla.. bla... I find it hard to accept that the quality of films are deteriorating because of these films... Yes it may be amusing, funny, entertaining... yada.. yada.. yada... but what good do you get? The whole movie is like a compilation of all sorts of movie and stars. They make fun of people, stories and issues... Well.. for my rating.. I think it doesn't even deserve any... it is indeed a disaster to create such a film...

Do we plan for better living or just drag along the path of life wherever it may bring you?

Honestly, I would have no idea what I would do. Cos I believe that every tile on my path is already placed by God. All I need is just TRUST in His plans...

In this story, PS I love you, it is a lovely story about a normal, loving couple who went through wonderful life together but sadly it had to end when her husband die of brain tumor. The calm her during the funeral, fell apart right after the funeral.... She lock herself in the house and do not want to see anyone. Just to be in Gerry's presence, in his clothes, pictures, bed... belongings...
What she did not know is that Gerry had planned everything for her, before he went... plans all comes in envelops of letters... (Brilliant eh? I don't think I can find such a sweet guy.. haha)
The story goes on to how the "dead" Gerry help her through and regain her strength and live again...

Two version of this story, one is movie and the other is the original version by Cecilia Ahern. I prefer the book version better because there are many areas not covered in the film. So if you have read the book you will feel the movie lack alot and is so incomplete...

So I suggest that you read the book instead... If you are lazy... then watch the movie... hehe

I shall not tell you the whole story.. defeat the purpose... muahahahah...

Okay... Let's see... ABBA, You RAWK!

I find this film... Hilarious.. especially when they sang the Dancing Queen song....
Other than that, hmmm... I think they could have done better... like the cast... Though Streep is an awesome actress but I think she looked TOO HAGGARD in the film... like she is on something...
And Mr ex Bond... is not very good in singing.... he looked a bit like he's going to be out of breath and faint... too stiff on the vocal...
I would compare this film to Grease and I think Grease had a better storyline...
Rating... I think 3/5..

The best scene I like is when Streep sang the song The Winner Takes it All.. BEAUTIFUL.... it was the perfect setting, perfect moment, perfect mood, perfect expression...
Honestly, she was wonderful...

Money Not Enough 2

In real life... Money is NEVER enough... It depends on how we spend and save wisely.... So.. What about this movie? All I can say is.... I cried and cried as though someone dear to me just died.... I couldn't stop at all... hahaha.. yaya... very funny peeps.. Okay... basically I think that the whole story is quite lame (no offence but I'm serious)... Funny? Yeah... some part will make you laugh but not those that can make you laugh till you roll around the floor.... Rating? probably 2/5. One thing that impressed me is that this film really moved me... the scene of sending the mother to the Old Folks Home.. the feeling of pain... unbearable... like thousands of needles piercing through my heart... i'm often sadned by the looks of elderly people... with no one else to love them but themselves... somehow people now are quite used to it that they do not do anything to stop or prevent from sending the elders there.... I guess in the modern world now... this is considered OBEDIENT?

Beautiful movie....

The many films I've watched, I think this is the most remarkable movie ever.... How a man (negro) was falsely accused of kidnapping, murdering and raping 2 little girls.. turned out to be a miracle healer for God... The Green Mile is simply a term for those who is in their last moment of their lives in the prison... to be electricuted to death on the chair....
In this movie we would be able to further understand the existence of God's miracle... even a person with tumor could be healed...
Besides that, there is always a man who is an insult to mankind existing... this man, Percy, is so cruel that even a little mouse also "he step on it"... and squashed it...
He did other evil things too.. too much to be listed here...
What touches me the most is when this man, John, the miracle healer.... only have a few days until he sits on the chair..... He knows that he is innocent.. but the pain and suffering he can feel in everyone... he said he cannot take it anymore... even if he must die there, he said that he would rather die than to live in this world full of cruelty, suffering and pain....
He was still so positive until his very last breath....

This movie have so much meaning... deeper meaning.... to a person's faith and religion that you need to watch it to understand...

The message in this animation apart from the cute robots is very clear.... Overdependent on robots... And also we will destroy the Earth is we don't care for it now... very clear and entertaining...
However... there is always however.... the movie is not as good as I expected...
It was good but not too good if you know what I mean...

I guess lotsa children will learn how to love the Earth more... yea right... =.=" as if thats gonna happen....

Love is pure... No one on the face of the earth knows you best but your mom.. or dad.. This brings me to this film... Heartwarming.. touching film... (that made me cry so much....)

Cruelty on the face of the earth will not end.... but this film shows how much a family go through after they lose part of their family member....
For 9 Years...

The movie start with a really complete and happy family... but one child... the eldest son... Sometimes we can see in a family, a mother and father loves the younger child more than the elder one... sort of neglect the elder child.... yeah that..

In this movie the eldest son, Vincent... became very jealous of his younger brother... as his brother Ben gets all the attention... When they went to the hotel... while waiting at the lobby... Ben went missing... and the mother frantically searches for her son... from that day onwards... the mother neglect her responsibilities as a mother because she blames herself for loosing her son...

Nine years later... Ben appear at their doorstep and she recognize him.... only to find out that her classmate kidnapped him at the hotel lobby...

Well the story goes on... I wanted to continue typing the story.. but... Nah! I think you guys go watch and experience the movie yourselves.. hehe

What can I say.... You know... The world that we live in is never going to be "fair"... How do we actually define the word "fair".... I remember when I was young... I used to say to my parents... "It's not fair!" But life is never fair....

Watching this film really brings out the message of equality.... can we really achieve equality? There is or are unending discrimination people go through everyday... particularly certain races or what most will refer to as "colored skinned"...

We have all come a long way to civilization but are we as civilized as we look? The kids in this film go through "war" everyday in their life... they try really hard to survive.... and they are only 14 or 15 years old... One thing I think our education system should follow is the way to conduct their classes... Yes it may be subjective but... I think it would help if students will read meaningful books to understand the situation regarding any matter they may face... to learn from the testimonies of people in the books.... allow the students themselves to analyze.... I think that they will become mature through great amount of analysis in what they read and how they apply...

Sometimes movies are not just movies but I think there is so much to learn from them... so much that we sometimes overlooked...

V for Vendetta

There is so much to study on this film, so many aspects if I were to study on the content but not the right time now as it is exam period. But I felt somewhat similarity with our country now when I watch... Sad... What has become of our country? In this film, definitely our country do not have bio terrorist caused by our government.. not that we know of... I totally agree that V is in each and every one of us. Like it is mentioned in the film that "people are not suppose to be afraid of the government but the other way round". How much do we practice our rights in our own country? Though I do not agree that we create chaos among ourselves.... But UNITY like at then end of the film where the citizens wear V's costume. We all hoped for a better future... what I'm really afraid is that we should all expect and prepare for the worst. If we ourselves are not united, how are we suppose to rule the country together? Look at our current Independence day? Before and after... so full of disunity... yes the media may show us some states are celebrating it with its true meaning.. But how much do you understand the meaning of "MERDEKA"? The way the budget is arranged and planned as though there is no more future... yesterday's news on NTV7 said that its too much deficit.. so what is left for Malaysia?

She sounded better LIVE... I'm amazed with her awesome voice...

I don't see why Malaysia wants to cancel her show... She was great....

besides... its got nothing to do with our National Day.... Not that it will affect our country's youth.. I've always believe that we censor ourselves... we do not need others to make the decision for us...

Actually the crowd was not full... quite disappointed cos I didn't get a closer picture of her on stage... cos my seat is hotlink area... which is the closest I can get... Its ok la... At least I get to go... hehe
oh.. sadly.. the show lasted for 1 hour... only...

I stayed in today... it's been raining since afternoon... until now... 12.11am... I watched CSI on AXN... then watch my parents leave for JB... then I continued my HK drama... The Seventh Day... Its a very meaningful drama... where behind it, there's a very strong bible verse reaching out to the viewers... " and on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sacrificed it; because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." Gen 1: 2-3

True enough... and without doubt its a very touching story... and I cried and cried.... for the last few episode of this drama (yes jo and lydia... don't stare and laugh....)

Outside rainning..... inside also raining... then... I just finish watching Bridge to Terabithia.... hah... and cried again... cry baby.... Gosh.. I'm gonna have swollen eyes tomorrow morning.... (Jo.. don't laugh.. I'm having brunch with you tmr...)

Just came back from "meeting" Dave in the cinema... well... this movie.. you can watch it once and laugh once... its not like the movie White Chick where you can watch a zillion times and remember the lines and still can laugh your head off... (a bit over...)

My rating for this movie is just 1/5... well cos' the 1 only scores for making me laugh... apart from that, I think the movie's storyline kinda lame... and Old School... come on la... this ALIEN story is history la... no other better storyline meh?

Well... the publicity for this film is quite minimum... I didn't know about this film till yesterday my friend asked me whether I want to go for the premiere...

My violence meter says 7/10... quite high.... The movie is slightly better than car racing.... its got a deeper meaning to it... Government conspiracy and corruption... (criticize on how in the year 2012... America's economy destroyed and the crime rate increased.... all this monopolized by one...)

How innocent life is... and how it is being manipulated and used for the sake of $$$$ - what difference this people and beast from the depths of HELL....

Of cos, every film have its what do you call it.... HERO....

And.... HOTTIE.... kinda a huge descrimination or sterotypical impression given to females... Sad.. when can the filmmakers grow up and come out with a better and less sexual appealing film impression made to female cast....

Even... the WARDEN is a female... yet the impression left its UGLY mark on female ruling... This is bad.... REAL bad....

By the way... Jason Statham's bod in this film.... is so so so.... gonna make guys jealous.... ^_^

Well the stage deco is quite limited... should have done more...

This is really beautiful.. really got the chinatown feeling...

When I step in here... hmm... I feel so lost and dizzy.. I don't know where to look... Everything is everywhere... Probably the layout planning is a bit too messy.. could have arranged it better to link the Chinese, Indian and Malay exhibition better... I went to the Indian exhibition and I can't seem to get out after that... no linkage to the Malay exhibition... abit messy on the arrangements... well i couldn't stand the layout (sorry... i feel really dizzy) so i just see then get out of the hall.. for some fresh air and to stabilize myself... ( a bit weak recently.. weather and all...)

At least I give face le... I finish going through the whole exhibition... Thank God I did not faint...

This little fella must be enjoying all the attention ^_^ (my grandma have one at home... a miniature one.. so cute....)

I have been watching this movie for 4 times in a row on HBO for several days... I watched this movie before... long long time ago when I was younger.... but I did not really understand the movie apart from entertainment... After watching this movie for several times, the implicit meaning to this movie is so strong.... I mean we always been discriminated in some ways... this movie has a different approach on discrimination... since birth you are already discriminated and your whole life is set... They were divided into two; a genetically engineered human and normal birth human. In this science fiction film, human's status are determined by their blood. No one cared how you look like, as long as your DNA perfect or is genetically engineered, you are considered the higher level in society. How about those who are normal birth humans? Their future set out for them is so bleak and stereotyped. All they can do is all the low class jobs; like cleaners. Jobs which those in higher level humans are not going to do. All these genetically engineered human's jobs are doctors, astronaut, etc... something that has better pay and better quality of life.

First this that is wrong, so so wrong with this kind of society is that they are going against nature. Going against God's creation. Humans themselves are engineering humans. And these humans live their lives as though everything is about being the first place, and perfect health and life. In real life, there is no such perfection. Even this film highlighted that some of those who are genetically engineered also have flaws. These flaws also determine the different kinds of classes they are in. How depressing life can be if we live in such society.

Part of what makes the movie, a dystopian vision of the future is the dependence on money to create perfect children and the system of inequality that this system causes. The movie clearly shows a capitalist future. In Gattaca, you get what you pay for, if people chose to pay, then they can have super-duper children with genes carefully selected to provide superior intelligence and physical capabilities. If parents choose to have a children the natural way, then their children are branded as "in-valid" disqualifying them for excellent jobs and bright futures. Children that are born without genetic thinkering are inferior, with higher incidences of diseases, ailments and lower IQs - in short they are no longer competitive against the "valid" children who have been carefully constructed to give them every advantage their parents' genes could possibly provide.(By Mary E. But in this movie, one thing we could see is how and what a person go through to change or become a "valid" person. Vincent, who since young strive to survive this discrimination. He even disapear from him life by getting closer to his dream which is to be an astronaut. The only problem is he have a heart defect. Other than that, his IQ is at par with those who genetically engineered. He was introduced to Jerome, who tried to suicide because he did not get 1st in swimming. He failed to die, end up with waist down paralyze. So, he sold his identity to Vincent. They went through all the trouble as to preparing finger print, height adjustment, hair color, hair style,.... whole body make over to look like Jerome. The movie don't just end that way. There was a murder in Gattaca. So happen, Vincent's "in-valid" eyelash was found at the crime scene. So, detectives came very close to finding out Jerome and Vincent's identity. What makes the story interesting is the detective, Anton is Vincent's elder brother who in the end found out that his brother is fine and well but not living as Vincent but as Jerome.

The ending of this movie is quite happy and sad. The doctor who have been testing Vincent's "valid-ness" knew all along that he is not Jerome but let him pass to become an astronaut because of his own son's defects too. Who hopes his son could also be like Vincent when he grows up. Sad is.... the Jerome... after preparing all the necessary blood, urine, hair, body samples for Vincent, put himself in the incinerator after Vincent was in the shuttle on the way to another planet and wearing his silver medal, burned himself to death in that incinerator. This we can see that in the blazing fire, the medal turned GOLD. Its a sad story to begin with so is the ending.

Yeah I just came back from an awesome HSM experience....

There is only one similarity I can see around me.... CHILDREN..... but the whole thing was great... even though the choreography was all same with the ones in the movie but the only difference is ..... its ON ICE.... nothing is 100% perfect... but its great...

Go experience it for yourselves... none of the skaters are from Asia.. so go see how its done...

What can I say... this movie is rated 4/5... The only part I don't quite like in the movie is somewhere in the begining when there were a few Batmans.... imposters...

Okay la.. this movie make us feel nervous on what's gonna happen next... there is this uncertainty and unpredictable action to what joker is up to next... probably I'm not too familiar with this guy... but I think "Joker" is a symbol of our inner psycho...

Especially the part where the criminals and the citizens in the ferry.... that is where our inner psycho takes place... but... what is will happen if its a real situation?

I'll tell u... no doubt... we are all selfish to our own benefits only... nothing else... this is the EVIL side of a HUMAN....

Oh by the way... I did not enjoy the whole movie experience in Mid Valley cinema because 2 person away from my seat is burping non stop and I was drowned with the awful gassy and toxic stench of her breath.... I almost puke... goodnes... does she know some manners... arrgh... The whole time I covered my mouth.. even the guy sitting next to me could also smell it... and doing the same thing with me... OOOHHH.. the smell is unbearable.... come on people... learn some manners... not that you are not allowed to burp but if you just ate whatever that could cause you to be that gassy and smelly... goodness.. get a mint or something to hide away that stinky-ness...

Horrible experience.. I couldn't really eat dinner... ewe.. writing about it now makes me think of her burping sound and smell...

For someone who is so young and started her journey to fame and fortune... No doubt many will think that its just a scam that some people could profit from it.... But what makes this girl so special that she impacts the whole globe? Does she mean what she sing? Or its just for sales purposes?

Who am I referring to? Who else... Hannah Montana or a.k.a. Miley Cyrus

I've watched her Hannah Montana series since the first.... Well at first I only enjoy her show... I mean like any other artist (Hilary Duff to be exact) All rounded and talented.... but what actually makes Miley Cyrus so different? Why is she so popular among all ages?

I'll tell you why... Not only her show is good... her songs are excellent! From her first album and 1st series... she pretty much changed... just like any other teenagers we can think of...

Why so special? Well her songs are basically based on every single thing a child or teen go through in their life.... love, family, struggles, friends.... studies... hopes... fears... every little thing that most of us have forgotten as we grow older...

We think we have grown out of it... but actually... that part of us... is still within us... we shoved it aside because we want to meet what the world wants us to meet in our lives... So this little girl actually reminds us about the other side of us... the real innocent side of us....

Her song lyrics are so applicable no matter what is our age... that is mainly why she is so successful... she not only reveal the other side of us but to be true to ourselves...

Sadly, well human will always be human... jealousy could bring us to say all kinds of things about other people to make ourselves feel better... About Miley's picture for the Vanity.. i think its nothing wrong.... She is just growing up.. people still cant accept that... I guess we just need to accept that we dont stay young forever...

Well she's definately grown... a lot ^_^

Ok number 1... its a funny movie... number 2 its a way to criticize Chinese history... -_-"

With Brendan in the movie, no doubt its hilarious... What I dont quite agree with the way chinese are portrayed in this movie... very bad way of showing that... Americans can even rule over China if they want to.... even if our greatest chinese historical figure like Shih Huang Ti come back to life.... They can still defeat him....

Well... lets give a round of applause to western scriptwriters... what a way to show their insecurities through this movie...

Sorry people but I guess this is the way it is in our globalized cinema scriptwriters... sad.. probably we should have more variety... watch Bollywood ^_^ hehe... funny... you'll learn to run around trees.. no offence... its true... haha...
